You set your training days and times, based upon your schedule and availability. Most students will typically go into the station anywhere from one to three times weekly – sometimes more – schedule permitting. All students will also host their own Internet radio show while training, which your mentor will evaluate when meeting with you.
Think of your BMG training like a college course with a lab. (Your BMG “lab” is when you host your own radio show and receive feedback.) But you’ll also read and watch training materials at your convenience, and complete short assignments at home, which will enable you to understand the “how to” of broadcasting, and give you a better understanding of why things are done the way they are at the station.
